VCF Mestalla to compete in a new-look Premier League International Cup
The reserve side will face West Ham United, Middlesbrough, Southampton FC and Manchester United in a U21 competition featuring academies from different European countries.
VCF Mestalla will kick off the second group stage on the 4th of April where they will fight to stay up in the division. This new look format enters its second stage which will determine who stays up and who will drop into the fourth tier of Spanish football.

Valencia Mestalla will be up against the bottom four sides from group III A: Olot, Espanyol B, Prat and l’Hospitalet and Orhuela CF, SCR Peña Deportiva and Atzeneta UE from group III B in an 8 match double-legged playoff, carrying the points picked up from the first group stage into the second.
The playoff will see the bottom five side dropping into the fourth tier of Spanish Football while the top three sides will stay up in the division.
